【題旨】
空氣是被20世紀的建筑遺忘的材料，但或許是最有價值的材料。
空氣受能量驅(qū)動，在環(huán)境中流動，飽含著人類呼吸的氧氣，承載著生存所需的光和熱。
人類建造的動因是在自然環(huán)境中營造一個安放自我的“內(nèi)部”，建造的基本過程可以歸結(jié)于空間營造與環(huán)境調(diào)控。人們尋求可以獲得的材料，搭接構(gòu)建，實現(xiàn)空間的跨越和圍合，營造一個安全、穩(wěn)定的內(nèi)部；人們適應(yīng)氣候環(huán)境，建造房屋遮風(fēng)避雨、采光通風(fēng)、趨暖避寒，調(diào)節(jié)內(nèi)部環(huán)境，在氣候與身體之間尋求平衡。
適應(yīng)不同的氣候環(huán)境造就了各地建筑不同的空間和形態(tài)，促成了體現(xiàn)氣候理性的建筑形式特征的產(chǎn)生。對形式的認識事實上揭示了建筑內(nèi)外能量流動和轉(zhuǎn)化的機制，形式既是調(diào)節(jié)和引導(dǎo)能量流動的物質(zhì)結(jié)構(gòu)，又是穩(wěn)定和維持物質(zhì)形態(tài)的能量組織。從這個意義上說，建筑是能量的構(gòu)形，是保蓄、釋放與傳遞能量的形式固化與秩序表達。
然而，20世紀的建筑放棄了以房屋構(gòu)形調(diào)節(jié)氣候環(huán)境的立場和方法，建筑師把對空氣的調(diào)節(jié)拱手讓給了空調(diào)，建筑形式與氣候的邏輯關(guān)聯(lián)日趨薄弱，世界各地的建筑喪失了以構(gòu)形適應(yīng)氣候的敏感性和調(diào)控力?？照{(diào)當然是環(huán)境調(diào)控更為有效的方式，但是它是要消耗能源的。在氣候變化日益嚴峻的當下，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)這樣的事實，全社會的能源消耗超過40%來自于建筑業(yè)和建筑用能。我們建造房屋，營造舒適的環(huán)境，卻為岌岌可危的地球環(huán)境貢獻了將近一半的溫室氣體。
本次競賽把承載著能量流動的空氣設(shè)作主題，要求參賽者觀察和理解建筑空間構(gòu)形與氣候和能量的關(guān)聯(lián)，重新將無形的空氣視作建筑要素，激活建造體系在地域氣候環(huán)境與資源組成中的敏感性、適應(yīng)性與可調(diào)節(jié)性。要求參賽者自選氣候區(qū)、場地和功能，高質(zhì)量完成一項完整的建筑（新建或改造）設(shè)計方案，在資源節(jié)約的總體環(huán)境、氣候適應(yīng)的建筑體形、能量理性的空間形態(tài)、環(huán)境交互的氣候界面、性能導(dǎo)向的建筑構(gòu)造，以及主被動結(jié)合的節(jié)能科技等多個方面，作出全面或有側(cè)重的回應(yīng)。著重以建筑構(gòu)形和空間組織調(diào)適氣候環(huán)境，實現(xiàn)能量的合理獲取、輸送與轉(zhuǎn)化，建立起建筑與地區(qū)資源總體之間的均衡。

【作品提交】
提交內(nèi)容：
1.參賽圖紙（jpg格式）：鼓勵參賽者展示設(shè)計過程中的手繪草圖、實體模型照片和場地的踏勘與調(diào)研。參賽圖紙需包括總平面圖、平面圖、立面圖、剖面圖，以及作者認為必要的表達設(shè)計理念和策略的其他圖紙或照片。以上各圖及設(shè)計說明均須安排在一張豎向構(gòu)圖、A0尺寸（1189mm×841mm）的圖紙之內(nèi)；圖紙比例自定；圖面表現(xiàn)方法不限，但應(yīng)努力追求忠實于空間的表達，在有限的展示圖面上，設(shè)計顆粒度可粗可細，以表達清楚新舊并存和功能更迭的構(gòu)思理念、設(shè)計策略為主，圖像表現(xiàn)更側(cè)重場景營造及相應(yīng)的設(shè)計策略，而不是細部大樣。文字表述言簡意賅。參賽圖紙保留高精度，分辨率控制在300dpi以上，文件大小控制在50Mb以下（RGB模式）。圖面內(nèi)容不得涉及個人及所在院校信息，圖紙須按統(tǒng)一格式加入【參賽編號】。圖框模板請通過《建筑師》雜志官網(wǎng)系統(tǒng)“下載專區(qū)”下載

6.參賽選手在報名同時可參與AI使用評價子項賽，但不得單獨報名AI子項賽。參加AI使用評價子項賽的選手，報名之后即可獲得“建筑學(xué)長”平臺5000建學(xué)幣獎勵。報名通道開通后，將在《建筑師》雜志官網(wǎng)系統(tǒng)“下載專區(qū)”下載《〈建筑師〉雜志·“天作獎”國際大學(xué)生建筑設(shè)計競賽AI使用協(xié)同表》（需選手詳細列出在創(chuàng)作各環(huán)節(jié)，如：場地分析、意向生成、局部重繪、細節(jié)增強等，所使用的具體AI工具及功能，AI含量越高，入圍概率越大）。該協(xié)同表可通過《建筑師》雜志官網(wǎng)系統(tǒng)“下載專區(qū)”下載

7.報名和圖紙打印費用截圖（jpg格式）：本次競賽報名通道將于7月中旬開啟，選手作品均需提交電子版，參賽評圖圖紙由主辦單位統(tǒng)一打印，圖紙打印費用需由參賽者支付。支付后獲得三或四位數(shù)字的【參賽編號】，該參賽編號將用于提交作品和報名AI子項賽時使用，詳情敬請關(guān)注后續(xù)通知（《建筑師》雜志微信訂閱號，ID：thearchitect1979）。
提交方法：
7月中旬獲得【參賽編號】后開始提交。請將全部提交內(nèi)容通過“附件”壓縮包形式發(fā)送至競賽官方郵箱thearchitect1979 cabp.com.cn。
郵件及附件統(tǒng)一命名格式：【參賽編號】所在院校-姓名-聯(lián)系電話。內(nèi)部每個文件均以“參賽編號+文件內(nèi)容”命名，例：001圖紙；001原創(chuàng)聲明。
參與AI使用評價子項賽事的選手在提交競賽圖紙時必須提交AI使用協(xié)同表，同時保留完整AI協(xié)同過程文件。經(jīng)初選入圍選手需配合組委會要求，提交完整AI協(xié)同過程文件。后續(xù)相關(guān)賽事消息，請及時關(guān)注《建筑師》官網(wǎng)站及官方微信公眾號平臺的信息發(fā)布。

2026年12月30日17:00前（北京時間，以郵件發(fā)送時間為準）。
參賽資格：
在讀（含2026年畢業(yè)生）大學(xué)本科、碩士或博士生，不限國家和地區(qū)。
評審：
2027年3—5月于蘇州大學(xué)建筑學(xué)院舉行，評選出的入圍作品將同期在微信公眾平臺進行為期一周的公示。
公布：
評審結(jié)果將在公示結(jié)束后及時公布；獲獎作品及評委點評，將刊登于2027年出版的《建筑師》雜志上。
其他：
1.每組參賽作品的團隊成員不得超過三名，均須為在校的大學(xué)本科生、碩士或博士生，如發(fā)現(xiàn)不符者，將取消其參賽資格。指導(dǎo)教師不得超過兩名，均須為在校教師。
2.參賽選手中每人（含團隊合作）提交參賽作品不超過2份，其中以第一作者身份提交參賽作品僅限1份。同時報名參加AI使用評價子項賽參賽的團隊，參賽者每人可獲得5000建學(xué)幣。
3.本競賽以獲取參賽編號視為報名成功，參賽團隊需自行繳納圖紙打印費用，無需單獨報名或繳納注冊費。圖紙打印費一經(jīng)繳納，超過24小時后無法退費，請大家謹慎報名。如需開具發(fā)票，請于2027年3月1日前將作品編號、開票名稱、稅號及接收發(fā)票郵箱統(tǒng)一發(fā)送至競賽官方郵箱

4.本次競賽無實際場地和具體任務(wù)書的詳細要求，可根據(jù)條件自行擬定。（注：提醒參賽者，在方案設(shè)計之前，請務(wù)必仔細審題，并嚴格按提交圖面中的各項要求完成圖紙繪制。否則圖紙將視為無效。）
5.參賽作品在公布競賽結(jié)果前不得一稿兩投。參賽結(jié)果公布后未入選作品，可修改后自行處理。
6.參賽作品的著作權(quán)歸作者本人所有，出版權(quán)歸《建筑師》雜志所有；主辦方有權(quán)行使作品的多終端信息網(wǎng)絡(luò)傳播權(quán)和展覽權(quán)。

【BRIEF】
Air is the material forgotten by 20th-century architecture,yet perhaps it is the most valuable one.
Driven by energy,air flows through the environment,saturated with the oxygen of human breath,carrying the light and heat essential for survival.
The fundamental impetus for human construction lies in creating an"interior"within the natural environment—a place to situate the self.The basic process of building can be distilled into the creation of space and the regulation of the environment.People seek out available materials,joining and constructing to span and enclose space,thereby crafting a secure and stable interior.They adapt to climatic conditions,erecting shelters to ward off wind and rain,admit light and air,and seek warmth while avoiding cold.In doing so,they modulate the internal environment,striving for equilibrium between climate and body.
Adaptation to diverse climatic environments has shaped the distinct spatial configurations and architectural forms across regions,fostering the emergence of formal characteristics that embody climatic rationality.An understanding of form,in fact,reveals the mechanisms of energy flow and transformation between a building's interior and exterior.Form is both a material structure that modulates and guides energy flow,and an energetic organization that stabilizes and sustains material form.In this sense,architecture is the configuration of energy—the formal crystallization and ordered expression of storing,releasing,and transmitting energy.
However,20th-century architecture largely abandoned the stance and methodology of using building form to mediate climatic conditions.Architects surrendered the conditioning of air to mechanical air conditioning systems,leading to an increasingly tenuous logical connection between architectural form and climate.Consequently,buildings worldwide lost the sensitivity and capacity to adapt their configurations to climate.Air conditioning,of course,offers a more efficient means of environmental control,yet it is energy-intensive.Amidst the escalating severity of climate change,we are confronted with the stark reality that over 40%of total societal energy consumption stems from the construction sector and building operations.We build shelters to create comfortable interiors,yet these very edifices contribute nearly half of the greenhouse gases imperiling our fragile planetary environment.
This competition adopts air—the medium charged with energy flow—as its central theme.Participants are asked to observe and comprehend the relationship between architectural spatial configuration,climate,and energy,and to once again regard the invisible substance of air as an essential architectural element.The aim is to activate the building system's sensitivity,adaptability,and responsiveness within the context of regional climatic conditions and resource availability.Participants are required to select a climate zone,site,and program,and to produce a high-quality,comprehensive architectural design proposal(either new construction or renovation).The proposal should offer a holistic or selectively focused response across multiple dimensions,including:resource conservation overall planning,climate-adaptive building massing,energy-conscious spatial morphology,environmentally interactive climatic interfaces,performance-driven building joints,and the integration of active and passive energy-saving technologies.Emphasis is placed on using architectural configuration and spatial organization to mediate the climatic environment,achieving rational acquisition,conveyance,and conversion of energy,thereby establishing a balance between the building and the broader regional resource context.

1.Design Drawings:One A0(1189mm×841mm)board in JPG format,the information,such as manuscripts,model photos,and the results of site survey and investigation analysis,which is necessary to explain the design is encouraged to submit.Content may include but not limited to site plan,location plan,architectural plan,elevation and section.
You are free to express your design,but the expression of space should be faithful to,and excessive and exaggerated rendering should be avoided.The resolution of the file must be no less than 300dpi,no more than 50Mb(CMYK Mode).Personal and school information is not allowed to appear on the drawing.The drawing must be added with the[Reference Number]in a unified format,which is available for download on the web site.

Upon completing the payment,each participant will be assigned a 3-digit or 4-digit entry number.This entry number shall be used for work submission as well as registration for the AI Sub-track.

【題旨】
空氣是被20世紀的建筑遺忘的材料，但或許是最有價值的材料。
空氣受能量驅(qū)動，在環(huán)境中流動，飽含著人類呼吸的氧氣，承載著生存所需的光和熱。
人類建造的動因是在自然環(huán)境中營造一個安放自我的“內(nèi)部”，建造的基本過程可以歸結(jié)于空間營造與環(huán)境調(diào)控。人們尋求可以獲得的材料，搭接構(gòu)建，實現(xiàn)空間的跨越和圍合，營造一個安全、穩(wěn)定的內(nèi)部；人們適應(yīng)氣候環(huán)境，建造房屋遮風(fēng)避雨、采光通風(fēng)、趨暖避寒，調(diào)節(jié)內(nèi)部環(huán)境，在氣候與身體之間尋求平衡。
適應(yīng)不同的氣候環(huán)境造就了各地建筑不同的空間和形態(tài)，促成了體現(xiàn)氣候理性的建筑形式特征的產(chǎn)生。對形式的認識事實上揭示了建筑內(nèi)外能量流動和轉(zhuǎn)化的機制，形式既是調(diào)節(jié)和引導(dǎo)能量流動的物質(zhì)結(jié)構(gòu)，又是穩(wěn)定和維持物質(zhì)形態(tài)的能量組織。從這個意義上說，建筑是能量的構(gòu)形，是保蓄、釋放與傳遞能量的形式固化與秩序表達。
然而，20世紀的建筑放棄了以房屋構(gòu)形調(diào)節(jié)氣候環(huán)境的立場和方法，建筑師把對空氣的調(diào)節(jié)拱手讓給了空調(diào)，建筑形式與氣候的邏輯關(guān)聯(lián)日趨薄弱，世界各地的建筑喪失了以構(gòu)形適應(yīng)氣候的敏感性和調(diào)控力?？照{(diào)當然是環(huán)境調(diào)控更為有效的方式，但是它是要消耗能源的。在氣候變化日益嚴峻的當下，我們發(fā)現(xiàn)這樣的事實，全社會的能源消耗超過40%來自于建筑業(yè)和建筑用能。我們建造房屋，營造舒適的環(huán)境，卻為岌岌可危的地球環(huán)境貢獻了將近一半的溫室氣體。
本次競賽把承載著能量流動的空氣設(shè)作主題，要求參賽者觀察和理解建筑空間構(gòu)形與氣候和能量的關(guān)聯(lián)，重新將無形的空氣視作建筑要素，激活建造體系在地域氣候環(huán)境與資源組成中的敏感性、適應(yīng)性與可調(diào)節(jié)性。要求參賽者自選氣候區(qū)、場地和功能，高質(zhì)量完成一項完整的建筑（新建或改造）設(shè)計方案，在資源節(jié)約的總體環(huán)境、氣候適應(yīng)的建筑體形、能量理性的空間形態(tài)、環(huán)境交互的氣候界面、性能導(dǎo)向的建筑構(gòu)造，以及主被動結(jié)合的節(jié)能科技等多個方面，作出全面或有側(cè)重的回應(yīng)。著重以建筑構(gòu)形和空間組織調(diào)適氣候環(huán)境，實現(xiàn)能量的合理獲取、輸送與轉(zhuǎn)化，建立起建筑與地區(qū)資源總體之間的均衡。

提交內(nèi)容：
1.參賽圖紙（jpg格式）：鼓勵參賽者展示設(shè)計過程中的手繪草圖、實體模型照片和場地的踏勘與調(diào)研。參賽圖紙需包括總平面圖、平面圖、立面圖、剖面圖，以及作者認為必要的表達設(shè)計理念和策略的其他圖紙或照片。以上各圖及設(shè)計說明均須安排在一張豎向構(gòu)圖、A0尺寸（1189mm×841mm）的圖紙之內(nèi)；圖紙比例自定；圖面表現(xiàn)方法不限，但應(yīng)努力追求忠實于空間的表達，在有限的展示圖面上，設(shè)計顆粒度可粗可細，以表達清楚新舊并存和功能更迭的構(gòu)思理念、設(shè)計策略為主，圖像表現(xiàn)更側(cè)重場景營造及相應(yīng)的設(shè)計策略，而不是細部大樣。文字表述言簡意賅。參賽圖紙保留高精度，分辨率控制在300dpi以上，文件大小控制在50Mb以下（RGB模式）。圖面內(nèi)容不得涉及個人及所在院校信息，圖紙須按統(tǒng)一格式加入【參賽編號】。圖框模板請通過《建筑師》雜志官網(wǎng)系統(tǒng)“下載專區(qū)”下載

7月中旬獲得【參賽編號】后開始提交。請將全部提交內(nèi)容通過“附件”壓縮包形式發(fā)送至競賽官方郵箱thearchitect1979 cabp.com.cn。
郵件及附件統(tǒng)一命名格式：【參賽編號】所在院校-姓名-聯(lián)系電話。內(nèi)部每個文件均以“參賽編號+文件內(nèi)容”命名，例：001圖紙；001原創(chuàng)聲明。
參與AI使用評價子項賽事的選手在提交競賽圖紙時必須提交AI使用協(xié)同表，同時保留完整AI協(xié)同過程文件。經(jīng)初選入圍選手需配合組委會要求，提交完整AI協(xié)同過程文件。后續(xù)相關(guān)賽事消息，請及時關(guān)注《建筑師》官網(wǎng)站及官方微信公眾號平臺的信息發(fā)布。

參賽資格：
在讀（含2026年畢業(yè)生）大學(xué)本科、碩士或博士生，不限國家和地區(qū)。
評審：
2027年3—5月于蘇州大學(xué)建筑學(xué)院舉行，評選出的入圍作品將同期在微信公眾平臺進行為期一周的公示。
公布：
評審結(jié)果將在公示結(jié)束后及時公布；獲獎作品及評委點評，將刊登于2027年出版的《建筑師》雜志上。
其他：
1.每組參賽作品的團隊成員不得超過三名，均須為在校的大學(xué)本科生、碩士或博士生，如發(fā)現(xiàn)不符者，將取消其參賽資格。指導(dǎo)教師不得超過兩名，均須為在校教師。

【BRIEF】
Air is the material forgotten by 20th-century architecture,yet perhaps it is the most valuable one.
Driven by energy,air flows through the environment,saturated with the oxygen of human breath,carrying the light and heat essential for survival.
The fundamental impetus for human construction lies in creating an"interior"within the natural environment—a place to situate the self.The basic process of building can be distilled into the creation of space and the regulation of the environment.People seek out available materials,joining and constructing to span and enclose space,thereby crafting a secure and stable interior.They adapt to climatic conditions,erecting shelters to ward off wind and rain,admit light and air,and seek warmth while avoiding cold.In doing so,they modulate the internal environment,striving for equilibrium between climate and body.
Adaptation to diverse climatic environments has shaped the distinct spatial configurations and architectural forms across regions,fostering the emergence of formal characteristics that embody climatic rationality.An understanding of form,in fact,reveals the mechanisms of energy flow and transformation between a building's interior and exterior.Form is both a material structure that modulates and guides energy flow,and an energetic organization that stabilizes and sustains material form.In this sense,architecture is the configuration of energy—the formal crystallization and ordered expression of storing,releasing,and transmitting energy.
However,20th-century architecture largely abandoned the stance and methodology of using building form to mediate climatic conditions.Architects surrendered the conditioning of air to mechanical air conditioning systems,leading to an increasingly tenuous logical connection between architectural form and climate.Consequently,buildings worldwide lost the sensitivity and capacity to adapt their configurations to climate.Air conditioning,of course,offers a more efficient means of environmental control,yet it is energy-intensive.Amidst the escalating severity of climate change,we are confronted with the stark reality that over 40%of total societal energy consumption stems from the construction sector and building operations.We build shelters to create comfortable interiors,yet these very edifices contribute nearly half of the greenhouse gases imperiling our fragile planetary environment.
This competition adopts air—the medium charged with energy flow—as its central theme.Participants are asked to observe and comprehend the relationship between architectural spatial configuration,climate,and energy,and to once again regard the invisible substance of air as an essential architectural element.The aim is to activate the building system's sensitivity,adaptability,and responsiveness within the context of regional climatic conditions and resource availability.Participants are required to select a climate zone,site,and program,and to produce a high-quality,comprehensive architectural design proposal(either new construction or renovation).The proposal should offer a holistic or selectively focused response across multiple dimensions,including:resource conservation overall planning,climate-adaptive building massing,energy-conscious spatial morphology,environmentally interactive climatic interfaces,performance-driven building joints,and the integration of active and passive energy-saving technologies.Emphasis is placed on using architectural configuration and spatial organization to mediate the climatic environment,achieving rational acquisition,conveyance,and conversion of energy,thereby establishing a balance between the building and the broader regional resource context.

5.Statement of Student’s Status:The competition is only open to in-school students from China and overseas.A statement with college seal is needed to confirm identity.
6.Participants may enter the AI Use Evaluation sub-track while registering,but they cannot register for the AI sub-track separately.Contestants who participate in the AI Use Evaluation sub-track will receive a reward of 5,000 Jianxue Coins on the"Architecture Senior"platform after registration.Once the registration channel is open,The Architect·TEAMZERO Award International Architecture Design Competition for College Students AI Use Coordination Form(which must detail the specific AI tools and functions used in each creative stage,such as site analysis,concept generation,partial redrawing,detail enhancement,etc.;the higher the AI involvement,the greater the chance of shortlisting)can be downloaded from the"Download Zone"of The Architect official online system.This coordination form is available for download in the"Download Zone"of The Architect's official online system(https://jzss.cbpt.cnki.net/portal）.Participants must follow the instructions in the form to keep records and preserve materials during the use of AI tools.
7.Entry Fee:
Screenshots of registration and drawing printing fees shall be submitted in JPG format.
The registration portal for the competition will be open in mid-July.All participants shall submit their works in electronic form.The drawings for jury evaluation will be printed centrally by the organizer,with the printing fees to be paid by participants themselves.
Upon completing the payment,each participant will be assigned a 3-digit or 4-digit entry number.This entry number shall be used for work submission as well as registration for the AI Sub-track.

Submission Guideline:
Please submit all the materials in a compressed format as a zip file to E-mail:thearchitect1979 cabp.com.cn.
Name Format of e-mail and attachment:[Reference Number]Name of Entrant’s University,Name of Entrant,Telephone Number.The design drawing and other materials should be named separately with[Reference Number+file content].
Participants in the"AI Use Evaluation"sub-track must submit the completed AI Collaboration Form along with their competition drawings.Complete AI collaboration process files must be retained.Shortlisted candidates in the preliminary selection must submit the complete AI collaboration process files as required by the organizing committee.For subsequent competition news,please follow the information releases on the official website and official WeChat public account platform of The Architect.
Date of Submission:
Please submit all the materials to E-mail before 17:00,Dec 30,2026(China Standard Time).And you will receive our mail as a response.
Eligibility:
This competition is only open to in-school students from China and overseas,including the students who will finish their study in 2026.
Selection Process:
The entries will be selected at School of Architecture,Suzhou University during March to May,2027.And the results will be displayed to public online for a week at the same time.
Publication：
The final results will be announced when the selection process is completed.
The award-winning works and comments will be published in The Architect.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1.No more than three participants and at most two tutors are allowed per group.The competition is only open to in-school students from China and overseas,and tutors must be in-school faculty.
2.Each participant(including those in teams)may submit a maximum of 2 entries,with only 1 entry permitted as the first author.For teams that also register for the"AI Use Evaluation"sub-track,each team member will receive 5000 Architecture Senior Coins.
3.Registration for the competition is considered successful upon obtaining a competition registration number.Participating teams are responsible for covering their own drawing printing fees;no separate registration or additional registration fee is required.Once the drawing printing fee is paid,refunds will not be possible after 24 hours.Please register carefully.If you require an invoice,please send your entry number,invoice title,tax identification number and receiving email address to the official competition email:thearchitect1979 cabp.com.cn before March 1,2027.
4.No specific site location is required and no extra tasks are necessary.Entrants could determine relevant conditions on their own basis.(PS:Entries will not be reviewed if the rules or submission requirements are not followed.Content may include but not limited to site plan,location plan,architectural plan,elevation and section.)
5.All competition entries must be exclusive submissions to The Architect·TEAMZERO Award Architecture Students Design Competition.Participants are expressly prohibited from entering the same project in any other architecture competition whose results are announced prior to the official conclusion of this competition.
6.The copyright of the entry belongs to the author,and the publishing right belongs to The Architect.The organizer reserves the right to exercise the right of multi-terminal information network dissemination of the entries and exhibition.
7.Entries should be original;Plagiarism is prohibited.
8.The organizer has the final right to interpret the competition rules.
